As a result of the recent gas tax swap law signed on March 22nd by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tri Delta Transit has announced today that the fare increase originally scheduled for July will not happen. Tri Delta Transit riders can continue to enjoy the service at regular fares.
The legislation provided Bay Area transit agencies with $108 million in public funding, including $261,000 for Tri Delta Transit in East Contra Costa County.
