What is Twitter?
Not quite sure what Twitter is or understand why we Tweet? Here’s a quick overview for you (for more info, we’d recommend you check out Twitter’s homepage). Twitter is a free, “real-time information network” that enables users to view up-to-the-minute news and updates. Due to the short length of a Tweet (no more than 140 characters), friends and your favorite organizations can easily exchange quick and frequent comments, questions, or statements, such as, “Why are the signals red?” or “Spare the Air Day: get your free pass here.”
We tweet in order to share the latest info on transit and projects in Contra Costa County, as well as to keep you informed about our latest programs and promotions. Have a question or comment for us? Send us a tweet!
