In order to safely remove debris, perform temporary traffic striping and island modifications, and to perform underground utility work, it has been necessary for the Contractor to utilize one-way traffic control in the work area of El Portal Drive and I-80 in San Pablo. This has created traffic delays. Please consider alternate routes when possible. The City of San Pablo anticipates that normal 2-way traffic will resume on a full time basis by June 26 th, 2009. Call Scott Christie, Senior Civil Engineer, Public Works, City of San Pablo (510) 215-3057 with any questions.
