Many services will be running special holiday schedules while others will be implementing permanent changes beginning in January and late December. Here’s some info about what changes you can expect to see over the next few weeks.

After Friday, December 31, AC Transit will no longer accept the following paper tickets as fare payment on the bus:

  • Local Adult 31-Day
  • Local Adult 10-Ride
  • Local Youth/Senior/Disbaled 10-Ride

AC Transit to Make More Cuts

This past Sunday AC Transit reduced its service by 7.2 percent as part of the second phase in a plan to balance its budget. A reduction of 7.8 percent was made in March, which has saved the organization about $10 million.
