Free Bike Repair at John Muir Birthday-Earth Day Celebration: April 22
Looking for a fun way to celebrate Earth Day? If you’ve got a bike and live in Martinez, ride over to the John Muir National Historic Site on Saturday for the Birthday-Earth Day Celebration!
Why ride your bike? Not only would John Muir – “The Father of our National Parks” – applaud you for keeping our air clean by using pollution-free transportation, but the Bay Area BikeMobile will also be at the event doing free bicycle repairs & giving maintenance tips from 10am until 2pm!
With Bike To Work Day just around the corner (and lots of Bike to School events in April & May) this is the perfect time to get on your bike and get it ready for more riding!
Here’s what else is in store at the Celebration:
- Meet “John Muir” and the giant sequoia he planted 130+ years ago
- John Muir’s 1882 Victorian home and orchards
- Youth activities with National Park Service rangers
- Live music and more!
