There are three Primary and Secondary School transit ticket programs serving the four subregions in Contra Costa County. They are:
The Southwest Contra Costa County Student Transit Ticket Program opens each year in August and is for primary & secondary level students who attend school in the communities of Alamo, Danville, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, and San Ramon. Applications are being accepted now but tickets for this program will be mailed out mid-August and thereafter while supplies last.
The West Contra Costa County Pass2Class Student Transit Ticket Program serves primary & secondary level students. If your child attends a school in the following communities, you are eligible: Crockett, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Hercules, Kensington, Pinole, Richmond, Rodeo, and San Pablo. The application period for the 2016-17 school year has closed.
The Central AND East Contra Costa County SchoolPool Program encourages primary & secondary level students to use public transit instead of a car to get to and from school. If your child attends primary or secondary school in the following communities, you are eligible to apply to the SchoolPool program: Antioch, Bay Point, Brentwood, Byron, Clayton, Concord, Discovery Bay, Knightsen, Martinez, Oakley, Pacheco, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek. The application period for the 2016-17 school year has closed.
