Starting today, September 13, 2010, minor BART schedule changes are in effect.
Travelers to/from Richmond and Downtown Berkeley to the Pittsburg/Bay Point station will no longer have to wait for 19-minute transfers on evenings and weekends at MacArthur. Now, the wait time has been reduced to two minutes.
In addition, timed transfers will occur at the 19th Street Oakland station instead of the 12th Street Oakland City Center station.
Lastly, two evening rush-hour trains that serve Pittsburg/Bay Point and which arrive at North Concord at 5:45 PM and 6:00 PM will be taken out of service. To continue to Pittsburg/Bay Point, there will be a 5-minute wait for the next train.
