Free rides between Dublin Pleasanton and Pleasant Hill BART stations

September 20 to October 1, 2010, 511 Contra Costa and the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority will offer free rides on LAVTA’s Route 70X for riders who commute on Interstate 680 between the Tri-Valley, Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill.
By participating in the 70X promotion, you can take a break from traffic and unwind during the commute and arrive at work or home relaxed and ready for a productive day or fun evening. And with direct service between the Dublin/Pleasanton, Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill BART stations, you’ll help tackle traffic congestion, too!
To participate in the WHEELS 70X promotion, contact your Human Resource Manager or visit www.wheelsbus.com for a registration form. As an added incentive, we’re sponsoring a drawing for a free Apple iPod Nano for riders who complete a New Rider Survey and report their two-week trial experience.
The free two-week pass is valid on Route 70X only. If you need a transfer to other WHEELS’ buses or County Connection be sure to request one from the driver as you board the bus. Not valid on Dial-A-Ride Paratransit service. Free pass is sponsored by 511 Contra Costa and made possible with grants from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District’s Transportation Fund for Clean Air and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority’s 1?2 cent sales tax for Transportation Improvements Projects.
