School Pool

511 Contra Costa served 107 Schools in Central and East County with the School Pool Transit Ticket program. Over 3,000 bus passes were given out to students to try the bus and leave the car behind. This year the School Pool program served more students than ever before. Now we call that a success! Learn more about our School Pool Transit Ticket Program.

Peace on the Streets: Ride On!

Congratulations to the 2,000 students from Martinez Junior High School and J. Douglas Adams Middle School for participating in the Fall 2011 Peace on the Streets: Ride On! program.

Through the combined efforts of both schools, students removed a whopping 482 vehicles from the streets on their respective Challenge Days! A special thanks to Ian’s Yogurt and STF BMX in Martinez as well as Brentwood Bike Co. and Willy’s Bagels in Brentwood for their generous donations to the Peace on the Streets: Ride On! program.
