in the meantime, the best thing to do is carpool, use mass transit, use the ferries or telework. A few programs to help you with remote access while you telework are Team Viewer and GoToMyPC.
Update:
The Bay Bridge is closed 11/1/2009 and may not will not open in time for Monday’s commute. See 511.org for more info.
511.org also has a list of transportation alternatives. BART will not be running 24 hour service Sunday night 11/1.
