Pittsburg/Bay Point Area: Recreation and Park District Workshop

The Bay Point area is one of the county’s most beautiful natural assets. Pittsburg, the New York of the Pacific, had almost 57,000 residents in 2000. How these residents will reach their neighboring wetlands and marina is up to you.
The East Bay Regional Parks District invites you to a special public workshop this Thursday evening to plan one of the first segments of the Great California Delta Trail. When complete, the entire network will include both land and water trails within Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, and Yolo counties.
The segment being planned on Thursday will reach Bay Point’s wetlands and Pittsburg’s Marina Park, and will be one of the first to be completed in the new network.
Join the workshop on Thursday, March 31 from 6-9 pm in the Ambrose Recreation and Park District board room at 3105 Willow Pass Road in Bay Point.
Learn more about the Delta Trail or join the Friend’s of the Delta Trail mailing list for updates.
The East Bay Regional Park District welcomes your input.
