The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) are constructing two new connector ramps, one connecting westbound State Route (SR)-4 to northbound SR-160, and one connecting southbound SR- 160 to eastbound Highway 4 in Contra Costa County. This construction work will require a traffic shift on southbound SR-160, between Main St and westbound SR-4.
The traffic will transition from the currently traveled lane to a newly paved lane which begins near the Main St. on-ramp, which may cause an intermittent closure of the highway. The traffic shift will begin July 16, 2014, between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. and may cause intermittant closure of the the highway. Read the full traffic advisory
