West Contra Costa – now accepting Clipper youth applications

Are you between 5 and 18 years old? Do you want $1 AC Transit rides, or unlimited rides on AC Transit for $15 a month?
You need an AC Transit youth pass!
AC Transit and Clipper are traveling throughout West Contra Costa County this month to make the application process even easier, including two events tomorrow!
Thursday, May 19 – 6-7 p.m.
Kennedy High School, 4300 Cutting Blvd, Richmond
Thursday, May 19 – 5-8 p.m.
Richmond High School, 1250 23rd Street, Richmond
Tuesday, May 24 – 4:30-7:30 p.m.
RYSE Center, 205 41st St., Richmond
Saturday, June 4 – 1-5 p.m.
Hilltop Mall, Richmond – near JC Penney
To apply, you must bring one of the following documents:

  • Birth certificate
  • Driver’s license
  • State identification card
  • Alien Registration/Permanent Resident Card
  • Matricula Consular/Consular Identification Card
  • Passport
  • SF City ID Card

Additional events will be scheduled in the AC Transit service area in spring and early summer 2011, so please check back here for updates. Also, watch the AC Transit Facebook page and the Bay Area Clipper Facebook page for updates.
Can’t make the special appearances? You can always apply at the AC Transit office in Downtown Oakland. The office is at 1600 Franklin Street, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except holidays. AC Transit is also accepting applications from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on these Saturdays: May 22, June 26, July 24, and August 28.
